The Urban Music Festival (UMF) is an outdoor family-oriented music festival held in the heart of Austin along the banks of Town Lake at Auditorium Shores. Each year, UMF is scheduled to coincide with the annual Texas Relays Weekend, which attracts approximately 40-60,000 African Americans from Austin and beyond.
